There are a limitless number of aftermarket grips in any price. Any internet supplier of bike acessories would carry them. I use either Bikercom.com, or Dennis Kirk.
As for installation, the easiest thing to do is cut the old grips off with a sharp knife. The throttle grip has ribs and the grip will go on with some pressure without using glue.
When you take the grip off the left side you will have to clean away all the old glue, I used a fine emory paper. Put the glue on the bottom of the handlebar and push the grip on. The grip will have a squeegy effect and push the glue up the handlebar as the grip is pushed on.
